Penn Foster, a world leader in offsite career training and degree programs, is seeking a full-time Software QA Engineer to join the Information Technology Team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for software quality assurance testing on all internally developed and 3rd party applications and tools, for coordinating the efforts of an offshore software testing team, for the development of test cases and automated test scripts, for the implementation of load tests, and for the logging and tracking of defectsimplementing and maintaining custom programs to integrate with JD Edwards World financial software, web student servicing applications, and CRM applications. Applicants should possess the following: • 5 years of experience in software testing or engineering • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (or related field) or equivalent experience • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate testing projects, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines • Willing to work with and/or learn various technologies (including but not limited to VB.Net, SQL Server, RPG applications, JD Edwards) • Experience with testing tools and bug tracking systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
